Aisha Jamila Hinds is an American actor who is most well known for her roles in TV series The Shield and True Blood. The versatility of her character has been shown in TV series including 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7, and Under the Dome since she made her debut acting in the year 2003. In 2005, she was noticed initially for her role as Anna as Anna in Assault on Precinct 13 The film was her performance as Fannie Lou (a women's activist for rights) on the biographical All the Way film that brought her fame as an actor. Hind was also acknowledged for her performance as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's historical show, the drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that the series is scheduled to be renewed for a second season. Hind has recently completed shooting on the Hollywood movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters and will be released in the middle of 2019. Her father Krishnaraj died in the month of March following a lengthy career as a scientist for India's Army. Vrinda, her mother is a domestic worker. Aditya she is an engineer with the merchant navy and her brother is employed by her. The brother of Bachchan wrote and produced Dil Ka Rishta, along with his mom. She attended Arya Vidya Mandir High School in Mumbai where her family had relocated. Her intermediate studies were completed in Jai Hind College for a year prior to enrolling in D.G. Ruparel College Matunga is where she was awarded a score of 90 % in H.S.C. exams. When she was in her teens, she spent five years studying classical music and dancing. Her favourite topic was Zoology. Bachchan was a student of architecture when she took home the title Miss World 1994. This title launched her into the spotlight of modeling. The model was offered lucrative contracts with Vogue magazine and PepsiCo Inc. and an L'Oreal Paris spokesperson contract in 2003. The first two films in her professional career included Aur Pyaar ho Gaya and Iruvar. Both films defied the basic model that defined Bollywood films of the day, and pushed Bachchan into the front of the New Bollywood. Bachchan was made the Queen Of Bollywood by her heartbreaking performance in Paro in the film Devdas. She plays a jilted love for the character of Paro in Devdas (2002), one of the most well-known Bollywood films. Devdas also happened to become the first Bollywood film to be screened at the Cannes Film Festival. Chokher bali (2003) was the following film she starred in that earned her the praise of her peers. It's a thriller based on Rabindranath tagore's novel. She became the very first Indian actress to serve on the Cannes Film Festival's jury that same year. Bachchan appeared Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice which is the musical version and dance version of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Bachchan's beauty and stardom were then brought together in her first English language movie. The return of Bachchan to Bollywood was for Dhoom: 2 2006 before she released Provoked A True Story (2006). Abhishek Bachchan is a Bollywood star and frequent co-star. Also, he is the son of Amitabh Bachchan.
